1. My name is Sarah Humble. It tends to run together so I'm normally referred to by my first and last name. Sometimes people call me shumble or sare-bear. My nana is the only person who calls me Sarah-Beth. Sarah means princess so my dad often calls me princess. It makes me feel special.
2. Speaking of dad, he's the best. I'm 100% a daddy's girl! Oh and 100% mama's girl too. Yes, I know, that's 200%. Basically I just love my parents. We hardly ever fight. They're my best buds and I miss them a lot when I'm away.
3. I am currently finishing my last semester at Morehead State University in Kentucky. I'm a theatre major and business minor and have no idea what I'm doing with my degree after college.
4. Last spring I was a participant of the Disney College Program (DCP). I worked in attractions at the Magic Kingdom. I worked in a complex that included the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, The Enchanted Tiki Room, and The Swiss Family Treehouse. It was the best experience of my life! I had a blast and met the best people. I even had a boyfriend while I was down there and since I can't get a date to save my life here in Kentucky, that's kind of a big deal.
5. Speaking of being single, that's my biggest fear. I am terrified of never finding "the one". I'm also afraid I already had him and let him slip through my fingers. Oh and then there's my second biggest fear, butterflies. Those things are seriously creepy. Yuck.
6. Next month (February 2014) I plan to apply for the DCP again. My ultimate dream is to be a character performer, and some day a casting director for Disney. So in a sense, I have a plan of what to do with my degree... Disney just needs to agree with my plans.
7. Obviously, I am a Disney addict. I also love video games, theatre, Back to the Future, theme parks, and delicious food.
8. I'm 22 years old and my birthday is the day after Christmas. I love winter, snow and ice.
9. I'm an extremely busy person but I wouldn't have it any other way.
10. Back home I have a dog named Lily who lives with my parents and a cat named Callie that lives with my aunt. I love them so much and wish they could both be with me in my apartment during the school year but I know Lily would hate it up here and Callie is too crazy for the small space. Thank goodness I have a great family to take care of them for me!
So that's a bit about me. I'll be blogging throughout my application process for the DCP. Hopefully I'll get to be part of the program again. Until then, see ya real soon!
